With the further development of an integrated partnership between Denholm Rees & O’Donnell and C E Edwards’ Liverpool and Stoke on Trent bases a key focus for 2015, the companies are entering a second, and hugely exciting year working with a client who embodies everything they have hoped to achieve with their ‘Partnership for Performance’ approach.
Having come to Denholms and C E Edwards for the first time in 2014, the client – a major international manufacturer of pumps and motors for the global energy sector – very quickly recognised the benefits of working with a specialist partner that could deliver on all fronts: engineer expertise, high quality materials and equipment, the latest technology and not least, logistics.
A good working relationship was formed, based on that experience, performance and reliability, and the direct communication and individually tailored service that Denholms and C E Edwards aim to achieve with every client. As the project developed, and with a focus very much on the close integration between the two sites at Aintree and Stoke, the client could see opportunities to make greater use of the specialist capabilities offered at each location.
After further discussions about the client’s exact needs now and requirements and ambitions for the future, the company made the decision to transfer its in-house engineering to Denholms and C E Edwards. They were obviously delighted by this move, which is expected to see already significant business levels more than double going forward, and are acting to support the thriving partnership with their own additional investment.
